It is easy enough to refrain from defiling the marriage bed, but it is difficult to refrain from everything that may be harmful to conjugal affection. It is easy enough not to steal our neighbor's property, but it is difficult not to desire and covet it. It is easy enough not to bear false witness in court, but it is difficult not to lie in conversation. It is easy enough to refrain from drunkenness, but it is difficult to maintain sobriety. It is easy enough not to desire another man's death, but it is difficult not to desire something harmful to him. It is easy enough to abstain from slandering a man, but it is difficult not to despise him…. When [these temptations] try to sting you and you see that they somehow light on your heart, be content with quietly removing them. Don't do this by struggling or disputing with the temptations but by performing some actions of a contrary character, especially acts of love of God. Estaciones de la Cruz los viernes durante la Cuaresma Habrá una oportunidad de rezar las Estaciones de la Cruz los viernes de Cuaresma a las 7 PM en la Iglesia.

Se les invita a participar a todos en el Viacrucis Viviente, los ensayos iniciaran el dia lunes 10 de marzo de 7-9 pm en el gimnasio de la escuela, Te Esperamos!

Recientemente he notado un aumento en el número de confesiones. ¡Es una buena señal! Sin embargo, los horarios de confesión de los domingos a veces son tan largos que no es posible que todos los que están en la fila puedan confesarse. Recuerde, ¡hay horarios de confesión programados durante la semana! Si puede, aproveche estas oportunidades de confesión entre semana en SPN:

Martes 8:30 AM (las confesiones se escucharan después de la misa de las 8 a. m. hasta que no quede nadie en la fila).

Miércoles 5 PM. - 6 PM

Viernes 8:30 AM. (las confesiones se escucharan después de la misa de las 8 a. m. hasta que no quede nadie en la fila).

Sábado 5 PM. - 6 PM

Confesiones del primer sábado el primer sábado del mes de 9 AM. - 10 AM. (y después de la misa de las 10:00 AM si el sacerdote está disponible).

Horas Santas Mensuales: Ocasionalmente, un sacerdote puede escuchar confesiones durante las Horas Santas de Hombres y Mujeres, que se programan una vez al mes.

Si hay un horario que cree que sería mejor para usted y otros feligreses, por favor, compártanlo conmigo. Si no puede asistir a uno de estos horarios, no dude en comunicarse con la oficina parroquial para programar una cita en un horario que le resulte conveniente. ¡Haré todo lo posible para adaptarme a su disponibilidad!

Stations of the Cross on Fridays during Lent There will be an opportunity to pray the Stations of the Cross on the Fridays of Lent at 7 PM in the Church.

    

I have recently noticed an increase in the number of confessions. This is a good sign! However, Sunday confession times are sometimes so long that it is not possible for everyone in line to have their confession heard. Remember, there are scheduled confession times during the week! If you are able, please take advantage of these weekday opportunities for confession at SPN:

Tuesday 8:30 AM (confessions are heard following the 8 AM Mass until no one is left in line.)

Wednesday 5 PM-6PM

Friday at 8:30 AM (confessions are heard following the 8 AM Mass until no one is left in line.)

Saturday 5PM-6PM

First Saturday Confessions on the first Saturday of the month from 9 AM - 10 AM (and after the 10 AM Mass if the priest is available).

Monthly Holy Hours a priest is occasionally able to hear confessions during the Men’s and Women’s Holy Hours which are scheduled once/month

If there is a time that you think would be better for you and other parishioners, please share it with me. If you are unable to make it to one of these times, please feel free to contact the parish office to make an appointment at a time that is convenient for you. I will do my best to accommodate your availability!
